MATTHEWS, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Interstate 485 Inner has reopened after a crash in Matthews Monday night.
According to N.C. Department of Transportation, the crash was reported around 10:10 p.m. on I-485 near Mile Marker 51 just before Independence Boulevard. All inner lanes were closed for approximately an hour, when the scene was moved to the shoulder.
Medic officials say one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries from the incident.
