PAGELAND, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Law enforcement was called to the town of Pageland for reports of a shooting Monday afternoon.
There is a heavy police presence in the area of McCray Road. Officials have not said if anyone has been hurt.
The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) are working together to investigate the incident.
Deputies say there is no immediate threat to the public at this time. Residents are asked to avoid the area.
