PINEVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An early-morning water line break is causing emergency repairs in Pineville, town officials said.
The break occurred early Sunday morning near Downs Road and Highway 51 (Rock Hill-Pineville Road). According to the Town of Pineville, this will require emergency repair work, closing both sides of Highway 51 from Downs Road to the South Carolina state line.
Hazardous road conditions and active repair operations make it necessary for officials to close the road. Anyone driving should avoid the area and find an alternate route until it can be safely reopened.
Charlotte Water and NCDOT are aware and are working on repairs as quickly as possible.
