David joined Queen City News in July 2025 after spending more than five years reporting in Minneapolis.
He arrived in Minnesota at the start of the pandemic in March 2020, then covered the murder of George Floyd shortly after and the ensuing protests and riots. David earned a regional Emmy award for that team coverage.
One of the great honors of David’s career has been the privilege to appear several times on the CBS Evening News to report on stories of national interest.
David has reported in Milwaukee and Las Vegas as well, after growing up just outside New York City, but chose to move to Charlotte to be in the same city as family.
